Back to School Clothing Drive 2022

Thank you!!

They say money can’t buy style and it’s true! Thanks to your donations, we were able to collectively provide high school gurlz with a school wardrobe at no cost. Your once loved clothing has been given a new life with the inspiration and encouragement of self-expression. Students paired up with a volunteer stylist who helped shop for pieces that spoke to their individual and personal styles.

MISSEY
MISSEY is co-creating a world where girls and gender expansive youth are safe from sexual exploitation and know their power.

Serenity House Oakland
Serenity House Oakland includes substance-abuse treatment, recovery housing, and wrap-around support services for women. Individualized services include one-on-one counseling, healing groups, case-management, benefits advocacy, workforce development, and family reunification support.

Shop 55
Shop 55 is a partnership between Oakland High and local community agencies that provide medical health, mental health, youth development, and academic support to Oakland High Scholars.

FLY GURL MARKET

Surplus donations were sold to fundraise at Fly Gurl Market which featured local artists, creators, and makers. We are using our platform to showcase entrepreneurs here at home base to grow our network in the Bay Area, support local businesses, and inspire others to do the same. We raised over $1000 that will be used toward our future initiatives. Thank you so much for shopping with us!
