FLYGURLZCLUB is everything!

I first had the pleasure and honor of volunteering for FGC early 2019 at the Galatine event as a keynote speaker. Volunteering and working alongside so many talented, kind hearted men and women was a completely new and unmatched experience for me. FlyGurlzClub proudly stands for community. The fact that so many people are not only willing, but also see the importance in using their talents and gifts to support our communities is humbling and inspiring. From the first day I became involved with FGC I knew I had a forever ting! FGC FOR LIFE!

Volunteering at FGC was definitely a one of a kind experience.

I was able to put my work experience to good use and support the young women in our community. One of the many reasons that I love FGC is that we are able to provide unique and creative open space environments for younger generations to connect and share their stories. On top of that, many of the fellow volunteers are passionate, smart, and beautifully spoken ladies. I am super proud to be a part of Flygurlzclub and will continue to support.

I was thinking of ways to give back to girls in my community for a while but never figured out how.

My first volunteering opportunity for FLYGURLZCLUB was at the Back to School Donation Drive in August of 2018. Stephanie reached out to me at the perfect time because I was thinking of ways to give back to girls in my community for a while but never figured out how. Hearing about the cause and her passion for helping was so inspiring. It was exciting to see the outpouring support from the community and the loads of donations! My favorite part was seeing the girls’ reactions when they were getting pampered and styled by the volunteers. I’m sure they felt like queens that night and I’m so humbled that I was able to be a small part of that magic. Shoutouts to Stephanie Torres for bringing your idea to fruition, bringing women together and continuing your work. You inspire us all.
