Back to School Clothing Drive 2024
Thank you San Jose!!
We hosted our 6th Annual Back to School Drive in San Jose for the first time and it was the biggest turn out yet!! We held Student Shop Day on a Saturday with a line outside before we opened! We partnered with Guildhouse who hosted our students to boardgames and video games just for our event!
There were so many great donations unclaimed, so we extended our shop for an additional week AND a 2nd Saturday. We were happy to see new faces and serve the community of San Jose. The students cleared out our inventory with very few boxes remaining that we donated to City Team.
We had the enormous and generous support of local organizations: The Core Company, Local Color, San Jose Clothing Swap, Guildhouse, and The Princess Project.

We couldn’t have done it without our event team + volunteers!! Thank you all for your time, generosity, and support. We built out our shop from the ground up and are so grateful for everyone who was apart of making this happen.
FLYGURLZCLUB is truly a sisterhood of fly gurlz who do fly things. We did that!!!
STUDENT SHOP DAY
At our main event, students were able to get hair styling, gel manicures, and mini make-overs. Stylists helped with making outfits, assisted in fittings, and customized pieces at our Creative Studio. We had a Self-Love station where students wrote down affirmations. Our hearts are full of love from the participation in our community and the impact we have made with each student.
