CLOTHING DRIVE

Thank you for helping us provide high school gurlz with a free school wardrobe!

The community of San Jose donated gently worn clothing for underserved high school gurlz!

Students were provided with the FLY GURL experience with our Glam Squad of stylists, nail artists, MUAs, & hair stylists!

Sign up to volunteer for future events as a merchandiser, stylist, or member of the Glam Squad!

We need your help!

In order for us to successfully run our event, help us raise $4,000.

Please see our published Budget + Wishlist for items and event necessities that you or someone you know can lend or donate to us.

How it works

  • Time for a closet clean out? Gift your once loved clothing to high school gurlz in need! We welcome donations of all sizes in good condition that are high school appropriate. We please ask that you be mindful of the donations you gift.

We do not accept undergarments without tags, damaged clothing (unless distressed), and shoes unless like new. Please do not bring worn house clothes, socks, or revealing body con dresses or mini skirts. We do accept formal dresses that can be worn to homecoming or prom.

More details of what we do and do not accept on the bottom of this page.

  • We get tons of clothing donations every year! In order to provide a quality experience to our students, we sort through each and every piece that is donated. We essentially build a pop up shop from the ground up for students to shop clothing sorted by size and category. This is an extensive phase of our process that allows us to create the ultimate shopping experience!

To volunteer and get involved, please let us know here!

  • Student Shop Day is a one day private event for high school gurlz. We work with schools to invite and register students to attend and shop for free. We round up volunteers to style students, provide glam services such as manicures, hair styling, hair cuts, and DIY stations to give their clothing a personalize flare.

Student registrations are private for teachers, faculty, and students only. If you are either and would like to attend, please contact us.

Student Registration to be announced. Sign up to be notified on the bottom of this page.

To volunteer at Student Shop Day as a stylist, event team member, or provide services on our Glam Squad, please sign up!

  • We host a marketplace post-Student Shop Day to sell surplus donations in order to alleviate inventory due to storage space. We invite vendors to our marketplace to highlight local artists and designers in the community!
